Product Description
Drostanolone propionate, an androgen and anabolic steroid, is employed for palliating androgen-responsive recurrent breast cancer in postmenopausal women ranging from more than one year to less than five years.
It functions by inhibiting prolactin or estrogen receptors in the breasts, correlating with its antitumor effect. Additionally, it interacts with the androgen receptor, initiating genetic changes that augment protein synthesis (anabolism) and curtail amino acid degradation (catabolism).
